Shallot (Spring) Meloine Organic The first downy mildew resistant shallot from French breeding! Shallot ‘Meloine’ has a rounded bulb shape with reddish-brown skin and crisp white flesh. It forms a clump of up to 8 delicious organic bulbs. This heavy cropping variety has a subtle sweet flavour compared to onions. The mature bulbs can be harvested in August and will store for several months. Height: 35cm (14?). Spread: 15cm (6?).
