Myrtus communis on Spiral Stem Hardy garden shrub perfect for indoors! Myrtle is most commonly seen as a hardy garden shrub but it can be enjoyed indoors too! This pretty evergreen has been trained to have a spiral stem and a rounded topiary head which really does make a charming feature for your home. The aromatic, glossy foliage is a perfect backdrop for its fragrant, white blooms in late summer from July to August. Myrtus communis will be happiest in a cool, bright room, well away from any radiators. It is ideal for a bright porch, conservatory or even outside on the patio during the summer months. Feed and water regularly during from March to September and reduce watering in the winter, keeping the soil just moist.
