Malus ‘Prairifire’ produces a reddish-magenta flower in the months of spring, followed by a stunning backdrop of purple foliage which later turns green. In the Autumnal season, maroon, berry-sized fruits hang from this tree, remaining into the winter months as a great source of food for visiting garden birds. The bark of this deciduous tree is a glossy dark red and brings character and interest to any garden it grows in.
