Unlike, many other chilli peppers this variety builds up the heat slowly and stops before it gets too hot, hence the name ‘Slowburn’. Ripening a gorgeous rich orange colour, this chilli pepper plant will produce an abundance of fruits, weighing in at a feisty 55,000-60,000 SHU. The ‘Slow Burn’ is deep and rich in flavour, these rather complex tastes are elements taken from both its parents. This chilli pepper can be frozen or dried for later use.
