Cornus sanguinea Plant – Midwinter Fire
Bright flame-coloured stems will brighten up any garden during the darker winter months. Oval green leaves are produced on this deciduous shrub which also develops clusters of white flowers in early summer. During the autumn the foliage becomes even more interesting as it takes on shades of yellow before revealing the stems. To keep the stems the same intense colours year after year, we recommend pruning ‘Midwinter Fire’ down hard every year. Flowers late May-June. Height 100-150cm; spread 101-150cm. Supplied in a 7.5 litre pot.
