Calatheas Roseopicta Medallion 12cm Pot x 1

The luxuriant foliage of Calathea veitchiana ‘Medaillon’ is really quite extraordinary! Large, extensive leaves are patterned with silver and green feather-like patterns that make it an unforgettable display. The undersides of the leaves have a bright purple-pink shade to it adding a bold colour contrast. This tropical beauty is the perfect choice as an eye-catching focal point in a warm room with good humidity. Keep in a room with a constant temperature of above 16C (60F) and keep away from cold draughts and radiators. Keep out of direct sunlight but in a bright but lightly shaded spot. Water regularly in the spring and autumn with tepid rainwater if possible. Make sure it drains each time after watering. In the winter reduce the amount of water but do not let it completely dry out. Feed between March and September when it is in active growth. It will love some humidity this plant so place on top of water and pebbles, and as the water evaporates it will create the humidity it needs around the plant. Height and spread: 60cm (24).
